What's Your Number (2011): A humor deprived mockery of modern dating

By: Da'Mon Guy

What’s Your Number? is an insanely, humorless mockery of modern dating. The film pokes fun at the high number of sexual promiscuity of an individual. The movie stars Anna Faris (The Dictator), Chris Evans (Marvel Comics The Avengers), Ari Grainer (What‘s Your Number), Ed Beagley, Jr (Pineapple Express), Blythe Danner (Paul), with appearances by Zachery Quinto (Star Trek 2009), Andy Samberg (Easy A), and Anthony Mackie (The Adjustment Bureau).

What’s Your Number is an offbeat, mind-numbing romantic comedy that focuses on crazy interpretation of a hapless individual’s approach to finding her ideal mate. The comedy focuses on her attempts to revisit her former flames in the attempt to not increase her number of sexual partners. The film is based on the book Karyn Bosnak's book 20 Times a Lady.
