There are so many films that showcase negativity or killing or some disturbing series of images but every once in a while there’s a movie that just have that warm feeling that makes you feel good about life. Mr. Popper’s Penguins is an energetic, theme driven happenstance that showcases the strength of family. It’s a wondrous film that uses a humorous perspective to redefine the term family. The movie stars Jim Carey (Phillip Morris, I Love You), Carla Guino (Faster), Angela Lansbury (Nanny McPhee), Ophelia Lovibond (No Strings Attached), Clark Gregg (Thor), Madeline Carroll (Flipped), and Maxwell Perry Cotton (Like Dandilion Dust).

Mr. Poppers Penguins is a spirited, heartfelt film that tells the story of a Funny infestation of penguins that reminds us all of the kid in all of us. It is a perfect merger of comedy and drama. The movie is a very enjoyable family friendly tale that invokes a bit of nostalgia. Its very reminiscent of classic family tales like 101 Dalmatians and Lassie.
